Just one question.. Why would you try logging onto the game server when you're not logged into the site?

It uses the same java applet - so it doesn't matter if logged in or not.

No it's nothing to do with the java now: Google Chrome has stopped supporting plug INS completely now. Where before there was a yellow header stating it's supported at the moment, that no longer is applicable.

Simply Funkypool is unable to support any Java, old or the most recent Version 8 Update 60.

Chrome is rendered useless.

I see your still using Chrome, we all knew they would block Chrome completely at some point.

I would switch to Firefox or if you like F11 then Opera

Yeah try opera. What ever happened to that torch browser?

That browser has a lot of malware and spyware at the moment, so most AV's (Anti Viral software) will block it. I know mine does and I use McAfee - especially with the recent hacking and security breaches through Adobe Flash Player I wouldn't touch Torch with a barge pole for the time being.

Torch is okay but i found that Torch has 4 times as much memory to install on your machine than Opera.

For me personally Opera has rarely let me down except my early years which has Java Bugs and didn't work well with Java (e.g. like White Screen with Chrome), now i would call Opera my favourite browser, Firefox could be second but lacks the zoom i'm after.

On a machine what hasn't got a lot of RAM, those little things can make the difference.

Yeah no zoom in Firefox is a killer. Firefox is a bit choppy unless it's in full screen and the power is weird too.

I'm going to try Opera - http://www.opera.com

Hopefully it's as smooth as it was on Torch.

I used to use opera back when it was the only browser with tabs. I also worked on Linux.

good luck, for smoothness Torch and Firefox wins from experience but it should be good enough as i rarely get lag and i'm on 1.49 GB of RAM.

Zoom, Opera and Torch, but the amount of memory Torch used put me off and slow browsing at times.

I close my browsing window while shooting otherwise Facebook and Youtube can slow it down. Music fix would be download as MP3 and play through your PC
