Hi guys,

With the end of the clan leagues quickly approaching, I figured it would be an idea to create some decent pool events going, to stop a lull in activity from happening and try to keep some competition going within funkypool apart from the obvious tournaments and ladders that people are enjoying.

This tournament system will consist of groups of 4 in the first round, with every player playing 3 games (1 vs every opponent in group) with the top 2 in each group going through.

Format as follows:
4 x 8us
4 x 9us
4 x 8uk

Specials such as run outs, golden breaks etc do not count.

Round 1 (groups) will be 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, with frame difference coming into play in case of a tie for first or second place within a group.

After the initial group stage, the format will then change to 5 frames of each type, in which the winner will progress to the next round.

With this structure, we need a minimum of 8 players, but I am looking to get around 16, 24 or at a push 32 players interested. If you are interested in playing, simply copy and paste your name into the list below. All draws will be made at random and I will make sure I get help with the draws to prove this.

When draws are made, I will private message everyone with details of their group and deadlines in which to get their group games played, defaults shouldn't be an excuse unless there is a lack of activity.
