I've never done a LARGE tournament, hmm could be interesting if set up a straight knock out competition for say 32 players minimum - 16 matches played simultaneously, all to be complete by say 5 days from their release. (QuickFire)

I'll do it with dgeneratio if he's interested of course.

Yeah very well played dark_chocco mate - 3 runouts along the way in the final alone. Very impressive and fully deserved. andyw1 in the final, not an easy opponent. Both played well but dark_chocco totally warranted the win overall.

Cheers lads! Was probably one of my best performances under pressure against a top player! Hadn't beaten Andy in such a long time, so that was an achievement in itself! Very well played mate, but unlucky!

I'm exploring the idea to have an Internal Competition 'Knightmare Revolution' (Round Robin Stage then Knockout) involving another team so they'd be 10 players from us and 10 from the opponents. The groups will be drawn totally at random and will purely be the luck of the draw.

The other team first will be Revolution, if it's a success then we can add another team and so on.

What do you think? Good idea? Can we get 10 players willing to play but also participate?

Only thing is with 20 players total you end up with 10 qualifiers from the round robins so either you do 6 BYES and 2 prelim knockouts to get to quarters...

Or

8 players from each team and have 8 qualifiers from the round robins.

Very good point mate, me and vixen_xox are working on it, the main idea atm is to generate the interest but I agree the 8 qualifiers and 8 from each team would be a good route to go down.
