A win tomorrow for Newcastle would be good for both Newcastle and Sunderland, if Sunderland win against West Brom then it shoots them out of relegation by a hair. Puts Newcastle joint with Norwich but Norwich stay above due too goal difference depending on score tomorrow.

All in all Sunderland are hoping for Newcastle too win and for them self too win as well. If Newcastle win and they draw then Newcastle will go to 18th purely because of goal difference leaving Sunderland a point behind in 19th.

If its still tight by end of season Sunderland need too hope that Newcastle beat Palace as well.

I would say that Sunderland would rather see the Newcastle game finish in a draw and if they beat WBA then that would take them out of the relegation zone on goal difference and a game in hand over Norwich, it's the best case scenario for them, but they must get the win otherwise that would give Newcastle and Norwich both go an extra point ahead of them(if it does finish a draw), but West Brom isn't going to be an easy game.

In my opionion it's going to go all the way down to the last game to see who the last 2 teams are to join Villa and drop out of the PL.

I think you might be right Craig, same for Newcastle as well... was a good game there but Newcastle where like toddlers first half, shame about the last goal as it was handled in the box and should have been a free kick but thats the way it goes plus im not entirely sure Newcastle should have had the penalty. Only good thing from that game was it shows that Newcastle can score but they need too win those away games.

A Leicester win puts them 7 clear with 6 left. Big big chance, title could be as good as over. Spurs run in is unfavourable and Arsenal would be 11 behind with 7 left.

If ever there was a time for Leicester to be up for it it is now, though at the same time I think this is the time they would falter if they were to. Another 1-0 though?

How was that not hand ball? Simpson should be sent off and Southampton awarded a Penalty!

Good Header by Morgan. I still think Southampton look the better side, Pelle to score 2nd Half.

* Arsenal are my tip to win the League now after Spurs dropping 2 points. I think the Leicester vs Man Utd match on 1st May will prove key and Arsenal have an easier run in. Tottenham have more difficult fixtures they missed their opportunity yesterday vs Liverpool.

They should of had another penalty when Huth hand balled it in the box as well but what's the way it goes for teams at the top, everything goes for them.

Arsenal have got no chance imo, they will need to win their 7 remaining games and I can't see that happening. I can't see Leicester losing more than 2 of their remaining 6 games and I don't think United have got what it takes to beat them this season either.

neither were penalties lads. look at how simpson ran before he got there. there was not change in arm movement, also if it didnt hit his arm it would of hit his side. mane messed up no peno.
huth was extremely close to the ball.
how come is no one talking about how wanyama should of been sent off? and at a stretch tadic for disention whilst being on a yellow?
southampton had alot of the ball but rarely did anything with it. leicester should of gotten a second.

Ash Arsenal??? as funky said Leicester would have to lose probably 3 of 6 games? and arsenal would have to get 3 points in all games....
i hope you dont bet on your opinions ash.

It'll be decided or as good as decided by May, are you changing from Man City to Arsenal then Ash? or did you accept the inevitability of City not winning the title before today?

Leicester have this in the bag, hope someone took my 1-0 advice. I didn't

Are you being serious punkpoet?
Simpson moves his arm towards the ball....every day of the week.

Should have been Sent Off and a penalty to Southampton

United: Happy with the 3 points but played good in 1st half, 2nd wasn't much kop.

just a leicester hater, cant give a clear reason why its a penalty and before you say "it hit his arm" that isnt enough in the floored rules.

No mate nothing against Leicester at all, the arm is moved towards the ball - Mane would have scored if his arm wasn't used to block the ball.

Huth also handled but that wasn't as cut throat as Simpsons IMO - I completely agree with Ronald Koeman and think they were cheated from at least minimum a draw.

Usual crap i see - you thought I hated PD's now Leicester let me guess ...erm...the shoes /slippers you're wearing now too... give me a break!

Never seen such a bad refereeing decision in my life, 100% penalty and a clear sending off. That's what happens when you're at the top, refs don't like making big game changing decisions as they impact on the game as much. What a league thou......... Simply awesome!

Wow lol didnt think you hated PDs.
Do think you'd prefer other teams other than Leicester to win, to the point where i think you'd be upset if we won the league.
Maybe im being too lenient but the ball would of hit his body, no advantage and don't think he did it on purpose unlike the MOTD pundit lol.

And also CMM Wanyama should of been sent off... lmao

"We won the league"

I'm sure you are a Man united fan Zac. Or atleast thats the huge impression you gave me on Facebook. Your words were and i quote "I like and follow Man united, i don't really support Leicester even though i live here". "Man united have better players and play with a better style"

Wow that doesn't sound like me....
I've stated before I was a man united fan as a kid and still like them, as I liked the style in the late 90s early 2000s.
Still hold abit of loyalty to Man Untd even if I don't like many of there current players.
if you look through the thread on here you will see me supporting Leicester when we were 7 points at the bottom of the table, last season.
So I think you have gotten abit muddled with what I've said Phil. As I could show the posts about me supporting Leicester when we were bottom... but what would be the point?
Unsure when this supposed quote was but i did go a time without following much football at all, maybe it was then, but no I don't remember saying what you said it like that :)

Last seasons thread, now I really cba to check more than that, I just don't like being made out as being dishonest Phil.

Im sure I was just talking about when I was a man untd fan, at the tender age of 9 lol.

Leicester don't necessarily need to lose 3 in order for Arsenal to catch them, they can draw a few, dropping 2 points at a time as long as Arsenal wins their remaining games, but the way Leicester have been playing all season they can easily win at least 4 of their remaining games which would crown them champions. I want to see them winning it, totally deserve it from their consistent great performances all season and because no-one seen this coming at all.

Don't think Arsenal will win it, they are top class chokers, always bottle it and that usually happens when they start of great and as soon as their supporters say we're going to win it this year, bang, they go on a crap streak lol.

Leicester has one hand on the trophy and come next month they should have both on it and hopefully they do.
