I didn't play too bad, had a touch of bad luck and he had a touch of good luck, but he played out of his skin. Best I've seen him play in years and I would've struggled to win if I'd have played flawlessly. An absolute pleasure to be a victim of his form though

Not a 7 - 1 scoreline at all. In the first and third frames he missed simple blacks after taking out very nice clearances. I dished three times in a row after that and put the game to bed. Should have been a draw really.

Again, it seemed to be a case of all of my good fortune in the earlier games coming back to bite me.

Took the first frame nicely, he responded with two good finishes. He had a massive fluke in the fourth which changed the tone of the match.

I left him an easy clearance in the first nine ball off my break which he took. He left me snookered off both of his breaks, I came out of it and went in off. I missed a simple ball in the last and he finished.

Ah well!
