Hey guys going to run an extra long tournament with sessions.

Since this is Pool i am going to go longer than the Snooker version and this will be in 9 Ball to start with as excluding Arc its the fastest type.

Rounds: Best of 15
Quarter: Best of 19
Semi: Best of 25
Final: Best of 35

Session:

Rounds: First 7, Second 8
Quarter: First 8, Second 11
Semi: First 10, Second 15
Final: First 10, Second 10, Third 15

I would ask for times in advance during the week and sessions will be done as close as possible to the two times (exact same way Killer is done on Pool).

Each session is seven days long however if a player will be unavailable the sessions may be closer together.

The Runner will ask for your times for that session and you must reply within a set time (normally three or four days), Failure to do so for that session will mean the opponents times will be chosen, if both fail then a random time in the evening will be chosen for your match.

So will be a 14 day deadline for two sessions and 21 days deadline for The Final.

If a player fails to show for the time set by the runner then they will lose that session by the maximum points available as that is what would happen in the real game but if both fail to appear or a player has to leave a session early then they will play more frames in future sessions similar to the real game if you run out of time to play the required frames.

Note: We will allow 15-20 minutes waiting time in case of lateness.

A Player cannot play all the frames in a single session unless it is the final session of that round.

Can all the frames be played in one session if possible?

I can understand for the final but I mean even first to 10 is only 19 frames max, 4 more than an FCL match and with it being 9 ball wouldn't take much longer.

I'd rather not mate, players has asked but i like the idea of form possibly changing so when your 6-2 up for instance in a Best of 19, the opponent has a chance to regain some form.

I can raise it even more if players can play them and switch the two sessions so only a whitewash will let you do it in a session.

Up to the players but i like the idea of a match being in multiple sessions

Yeah i think if both players agree it should be allowed.could be 5-4 and a cracking match and you don't wanna stop the form your both in

Rather not but if both agree then i see no harm in it otherwise it should be played in sessions as if someone is having a mare it gives them a slight chance to break even where one session there is only one winner.

If both is on form then it is a shame to stop i agree, for example in the past two great players playing well, they had to go to interval then it all changed.

If both players agree i can bung the two sessions together that way it is done in two sessions and you can relax until next round.

Do you guys want the frames raised? and for Rounds i will switch the sessions so you could potentially do it in one session but virtually impossible. However from Quarters (or even Semis if preferred as thats the one table set up) then i like the idea of the second session being longer

Yeah if you want to do it in sessions make the rounds longer so its harder to finish in one session
