another one missing the point! Jeezo! It was the lie about why he was being subbed in, not the sub in itself. I don't know this is so hard to understand. If friendyboy had wrote 'Ryan has now become available to play in the fixture and to be honest he had a much better chance of getting a result so of course we will play him' that would be that. To make up a story about hospital being the reason when he is fine to play another fixture tonight....that is the problem. You can make any sub you wish at any time, you don't have to lie and treat us like idiots in the process.

Honestly, no reason should even be needed in the case of a sub. The sub was posted and then the banter began. If we worried more about playing the game and less about he said she said, there wouldn't be these ridiculous arguments. I understand the desire to win, but as a competitive person I don't understand caring who the opponent is. In fact, I prefer tougher opponents as it makes the game more fun. Whether I win or lose is often on my shoulders, and if there is an opponent that kicks my behind then I take the loss and move on.

If I were on another team I'd be stoked to play legend.

I know and props for that but the rest of the banter isn't really needed. I think these arguments often bring the worst out of us. From my experience, the guys on your team are decent fellows, and the guys on my team are also good people. When we argue like this, we all look bad. I mean even in the grand scheme of things with the league and everything, we all want to win and sometimes one fixture makes the difference, but lets be serious, there will be another season in 2 months and it will all start over again. If we put our prejudices aside and try to enjoy the game I think we'd all be better off, and the site itself might even benefit.

Your right no one has complained directly.. But I ask would everyone make such a big deal about this if Ryan was the one being subbed out for perhaps a weaker playing coming in?
I doubt it would have gone this far, so surely the PLAYER coming into the match has something to do with these arguments (even if no one has directly said that's the reason for them).

I understand why people might be a bit annoyed about the way the sub was done.. But the FACT is that it is done and we should all just move on.

Two people from this clan making perfect sense. The problem was though we weren't entitled to be upset at being treated as dummies apparently. I take exception to it and as soon as your captains stop doing it I'll have no reason to post. The amount of times they say they don't like my posting you think by now they might have taken notice as to what is actually being said rather than who is saying it and reacting. You both agree no one needs to give a reason. Exactly what I have said since the first moments of these arguments but now you guys have said it I'm sure you will get a pat on the back from your captain because it's you that has said it and not me.
