nice guy and a very decent player, knew it would be a tough match.
let one slip in 9us should have cleared up but lapse in concentration, both had one lag in 8uk, i did well to run out the last one.
He played well throughout had to take the chances i was given and i played well.

Quality result mate - against a very good player and friend of mine. He usually throws a spanner in the works lol as he's very underestimated. Very nicely timed run out in the final frame - very good result here.

Yeah, it sucks I left work an hour early to make the match, but cest la vie.

Should set yourself Run milestones mate - start with 10, 20, 25, 30 - etc - or even go up by 1 each time - don't stop until achieved say an individual target per day.

Anyone can take 300 shots - don't know why they'd bother tbh lol - shorter targets, bigger achievement IMO

Had real bad luck in four out of the six frames but felt i had a chance in 2 of those bad luck frames, since i won one from bad luck unexpectedly. I rushed a black in UK which was unforgivable and lost position in the last UK frame.

Another day could have been 3-3 or 4-2 me but on another due to my unlucky errors it could have been 6-0 to Phil easily.

Yeah one was i needed a cannon near mid, one i got snookered after a brilliant pot, another i can't remember but UK was shameful really. Couldn't do much about US.

Never mind that 1 point could prove to be critical - I still believe we have the capability to win the match, so all good.
