Hey all. So the Super League will stay the same but it will be 4 in a team not 5. So do we run with 2 or 3 teams?

Its my understanding that if a player from another team hasnt played he can sub into another team and play if needed.

Can we run three? It depends if people play their games.

Yeah, I think those teams definitely work. 3 teams means more games and lets face it, we're one of the most active clans on the site as this is generally what the clan is built around.

I'm in agreement with those teams^ Unless someone wants to change etc. or there is a disagreement I think those are the best ones going forward.

You could but if someones not about then your short and you have no subs available. I think we do have active players and wouldnt have opted for three if it was a worry. I mean people can still drop out but we would 4 subs available over the three matches.

The teams are a bit one sided. I mean i could dilute the top two teams with weaker players but then you better players would have a harder job. Its best for the clan if we give at least 1 or 2 teams a good chance of winning. Its important to realise though if people dont play then then weaker players will sub in. At the end of the day its about getting the games done as well.

The only thing I don't like is the potential for cross-team matching. For example if team A gets knocked out in the early rounds but team C gets through to the semi's and/or final.. I would expect you to give the 5 or 6 players that have played in team C from the start first crack at the games, before making subs, should they be required.

I don't like the fact that the new format allows for weaker teams, that have progressed on their own merit, to be "beefed up" with "better" players should there be an upset with a clans main team. If you get my drift.

3 teams are good enough

I do know exactly what your saying and it would be a tough decision for any captain. Im being honest now, im sitting here in that position............do i sub in you huts and seb in the final or keep with me , cabbie and fatmaikee against The profs or someone like that. If i really want to win then i sub the players in. If i want to follow my team ethic of having a crack first and foremost then us reprobates play.

TBF though i dont see my self being in that position.It will either be team a or b. and i will keep the original players in their teams regardless.

One other thing though, if Keith had locked the teams then it just adds to the possibility of more defaults with 3 teams. I would have gone with 2 teams tbh. As all players can play if they havent already then i think 3 is ok.
