disagree about gaming, take Metal Gear Solid for example in Torture Room, MGS 2 I managed it somehow but the first one you need to have an Ultra fast finger or buy a rapid fire controller (that does my head in on Call of Duty). Luckily i had a Cheat disk with codes on including one for Infinite Health which i only used in the Torture Room otherwise i couldn't complete the good ending of the game.

Other examples is on Grand Theft Auto games where you have to find hidden packages.

Why cheat, find them yourself if you don't oh well tough luck you'll have to try harder

Ruins the games if have to revert to cheating.

GTA was an example, Metal Gear is one i meant as not everyone has a Rapid Fire finger so instead of NOT being able to do good ending EVER i did a cheat yes for one minute only just to pass it. I could 'give up' in the torture room and never see the good ending but i wanted to experience BOTH endings.

Other Metal Gear games, MGS 2 Sons of Liberty, MGS 3 Snake Eater and MGS Peace Walker in MGS HD Collection i never once cheated on those, although some parts was so hard and i was close to quitting.

Dark Souls for example, i can't even do the first boss and i even asked a friend how to do it, never played it since.

I play Payday2, Battlefield 4, etc. I'm stuck on BF4 on level Tashgar but I won't read up to see how to do it. I will eventually and IF I make it till the end then I'll have that sense of achievement. Surely reading up on possible walkthroughs. Coding for unlimited weapons, lives, best cars in GTA, how to defeat a boss in MGS takes that away?

Each to their own but I personally don't like cheats or cheating to achieve something which really isn't impossible.

lol so because i do one cheat on a part i will NEVER be able to do, i'm the bad guy? I'm stuck on Darksiders II on 360, no idea how to advance so i never played in months, probably something simple i missed but a puzzle ish game i enjoy where you have to think what to do, because i can't advance i probably won't play it again or at least for a long time.

Whats the point playing if your never going to complete it, a game is meant for enjoyment not stress.

I have seen the ending on youtube now anyway so i don't need to do that cheat to see what the ending was.

Thats why i like Call of Duty and World of Tanks, so simple that you don't need a Walkthrough.
