Tonight, we bring you a special edition game of 8 frames of 9 ball, where Michy boy plays host to James "The Degeneratio".

Frame 1

We've kicked right in, James with a strong break but doesn't pot! Mich goes for the clear- and ooooh! He's missed on 5! James pots the 5, takes a tight cut on the 6, and strokes the last 3 balls in.

Frame 2

Mich breaks and its another dry break, that's two in a row for the pair! The one ball is potted and then a few attempted snookers by both players. Bang! The 2 ball is free, it gets potted, then the three, then the four, then the five! James has a tough cut on the 6.........and misses!!!! Oh we can't believe it! The six is left open for Mich to pot, can he do it???? Bang, it's there! Then the 7! Then the 8! Then the 9!

Frame 3

James breaks, but soon finds himself on his 2nd consecutive foul, does Mich go for the 3rd snook???? No, he doesn't! He clears the first 5 balls, sees that the 6 is close to the 9 and smashes the plant home for a 2-1 lead! Come on you Gravy bumboys!!!

2-1 Mich

Frame 4

James strokes in a long pot on the 2, then smacks home a tough 3 to 8 plant. The rest of the balls are laid out perfect for him and he pots them in quick succession, leaving a tight cut on the 9.....But it's no problem for James and he pulls back the equaliser!

2-2

Frame 5

James pots from the break....FINALLY!!! But, WAIT! He's snookered himself on the 1, he tries a trick shot but falls short and pots another ball. FOUL. Mich strikes home the 1, and then cannons the 2-9 combo for a 3-2 lead.

3-2 Mich

Frame 6

Mich snookers James from the break, he pushes out and pots the 9 ball! Haha, sorry James, they don't count that way 9 Ball re-spotted and Mich takes to the table again. The first three balls are potted quickly, and he leaves a long possible 4-9 combo....Does he dare?...Of course he does! This lad is Chips n' Gravy through and through! Bang, in goes the combo and he's doubled his lead!

4-2 Mich

Frame 7

James tries a tough 1-2 combo but rattles the 2. Mich takes on the same combo and pots the 2, then the 1, he goes for a 3-7 plant but misses entirely, offering James the clear.
James pots the 3 but snookers himself on the 4, he gets out of the snooker and puts Mich in one! Mich gets out the snooker but leaves the 4 open and a simple clear for James...He takes it, well done James!

4-3 Mich

Frame 8

Mich breaks and leaves James snookered. All balls are wide open but James pushes out and manages to leave Mich with no pot on. Mich goes for a spectacular 1-9 combo and misses the 9 completely!! Luckily he leaves nothing on, James misses and Mich pots the 1, but misses the 2! James clears well, he pots the 4 and brings the 9 and 7 off the bottom cushion, strokes the 7 home but kisses the 9 and it snookers him on black! He manages to hit the black but leaves a long pot on for Mich. Mich smashes home the black, and then plays a stupid shot on the 9, misses the pot and James takes the draw.

Well, that was a match full of highs and lows, Mich takes a great lead for the Gravy boys but surrenders with some bad fortune and poor decision making. Thank god its only a friendly!!

Went for 1-7 combo on my first shot after break to sink the 1 in bottom mid and go for the clear... That 9 though.

yeah two silly shots in succession, first i think guaranteed to be on the 8 and not think of spin then mich's silly double lol.
