I think we should put longer tournaments on the hour and shorter formats at half past that way people can enter the half past one and be finished for the hourly or be knocked out of the hourly and join the half hourly.

Moving these to a rotating schedule on the half hour

9 ball speed
8 ball arcade speed
9 ball arcade
9 ball arcade speed
straight speed

They would all be finished in time for anyone playing to join the hourlys.

That way you get more tournaments for everyone without lowering numbers for any of them and you get more of the big tournaments and marathons, you wouldn't be waiting as long for the game type you lie to come around.

I want Super Speed Tournaments (5 Sec) more but i think one tournament every 2 hours would be better with Marathon at Peak Times between 5 pm and 10 pm UK Time.

Less Tournaments their is the more chance of people playing more Lobby Games again

Nobody plays ranked, wish people would just accept that.
You can have nobody in any ranked games for 30 minutes yet when a tournament starts, whatever time day or night you have entrants.

Don't care about Rank tbh, Never have except twice when i wanted to join MVP and had to get 850 in main 3 (accomplished only UK), and Virtuoso in Original (Got 929.5).

While a Tournament is good i come on here to play Friendly and Clan Games and normally theirs less than 10 games between them so i don't bother playing except at Night

Prime example random speed now, half the tournament will be out by quarter past leaving them 55 minutes till the next starts and whole thing will be done by half past...got to try and keep people in the server playing games and tournaments do that.

My way would work- (example)
15.00 9 ball tournament
15.30 random speed
18.00 straight

all the losers from the first couple of rounds of 9 ball could join the random speed and everyone is done in time for the straight still.
Could do away with micros totally if we did this

I agree with you on Tournament Front with a few Super Speed in their for fun but i rarely play tournaments so if it becomes that tournaments are the soul of the site, something nick and chris has been wanting for a long time then where do those who just want to play friendlies or those guests who want to play?

I personally believe one every two hours with a speed inbetween may bring Lobby Games to the way they used to be

5 sec timer tourneys would be great. Love fast timer.

If they want ranking games to take off then they need to make the groupings better.

500 > 1000
500 > 700
550 > 750
600 > 800
650 > 850
700 > 900
750 > 950
800 > 1000

Huge groupings yet if I'm 760 rank and I play a 705 rank player I win 1 point per game and they win 2.
725 v 758 and they're winning a point more a game than you!
There are 5 groupings with a top end limit over 800 yet excluding killer in the 6 other game types there are only 33 ranks (20 players) over 800.

Give us closer grouping options otherwise it's just not worth playing them unless you're playing someone much higher than yourself.

You would be able to fit in 5 sec tourneys if the quick ones were on the half hours.
Also straight needs more tournapoints, the system works fine for the rest but because they're 1 frame matches you get the same for a tournament that goes over an hour as you do for a 9 aracade speed which is done in 10 minutes.

I reckon the tournaments should be evenly spaced instead of the every 25 hours schedule.
Yawl know I love 9us, but getting a tourney is v difficult whenever ya dinny know when there's one happening, except for the 1.25am mara which is tooooo late.

Initially I was thinking about a set tourny for the formats every 6 hours, alternating them between ord and mara.

I agree with the proposal about Speed Tournies on the half hour.

I believe with definite times of tournies, folk will know what's coming

Think one tournament every two hours with some speed at peak times may get lobby games going again

regardless I think the order needs to be checked as ive seen on the hour 2 arcade tourneys 1 after the other :/ which isn't any good at all :(.

You've got a random speed which will be finished by 8.30am then nothing but arcade till 11.00am and a total of 4 out of 6 tournaments in that 5 hour period that it's showing are crappy arcade.

5 people online, pointless having any tournaments at all till at least 10am

I'm off to bed after a night shift but that's on a loop so that could happen just the same at peak times, it's another easily fixable thing that could help numbers if they sort it.
