I played well in US8 and was unlucky to lose the 2 I did one was a fouled black and the other I went in off with the balls sitting. Then in US9 we both had a couple of nice finishes with him taking it 3-2. Onto uk where we both had a couple of in offs some more costly than others. I went 7-6 up and had 2 shots on my last yellow only in the next for me to open it and not pot anywhere he then cleared. Onto the 15th and deciding frame which was a tense affair, he got the first opening and was unlucky with position onto his last ball. A tactical battle for a few shots finished when I went for the double which I got and cleared.
