These were not vintage games, in the first 2 games of 8uk, we both fouled on the black, he did it whilst trying to pot the black and cue ball ran around the angles and slipped into a pocket. I did it whilst trying to clear up, just nudging a ball and the black squirmed its way into the middle bag.

8us, again, not great stuff but he was on for the clear again and potted one of my balls after a bad positional shot, leaving me 2 simple balls to middle. I played a bit better in the next and won this.

9us, he should have ran the rack in the first, only to pot the white and 9. I then missed the 9 and he didnt.
In the last, I broke he potted 1, then I cleared after he missed.

4-2 me, only just.
