Caught him on an off day and he seemed a bit in a mood, saying "all yours" after he fouled early on in a UK frame only to go on an win that frame so I was a little miffed.

Should've been 3-0 up in 8us, but fluffed my lines after some ultra safety play from him (and then an unfortunate ball cannoned in as I potted the black). He then went for the clearances and left them for me to take.

9us I stepped it up, cut the mistakes out and deserved the win. The last frame I played a decent safety only for him to smash out of it with a 3 rail shot and accidentally cannon in the 9 ball, which he apologised for.

8uk, we both went for. I think it might've been every frame we had a runout effort fall short. I pounced twice, him once. Final frame I tapped instead of clearing and it ultimate cost me.

Gutted I didn't get more, but i'll happily take 10-5 to bring us back to a comfortable lead.
