Pah, we had pages of abuse just from the thread title which wasn't offensive to anyone.
All the people that claim to have their clan experience ruined by Ash don't seem too concerned that they are ruining 15 more players experience with their vendettas.
I agree with a lot of the points that people bring up, the tactical subs etc but constant attacks by the same 6 or 7 people onto one over every little thing just make the valid points get lost on everyone else.

i think it's a bigger issue that none of your clan are addressing what he is doing wrong. The same 6 or 7 May post and that because we have it covered, no one else needs to. I'm sure the 6 or 7 could get 6 or 7 each to further post to prove the points being made but again we select few call ash on the lies, manipulation and double standard. i agee with john, im genuinely suprised some players who come across as intellegent and genuine sports would associate themselves with such tom foolery,its like condoneing the actionhs

We didn't sign up as players to get involved in decision making though onevisit and as I said to faust recently it isn't up to us to tell anyone how to run their clan or inflict our own morals on people as long as they are playing within the rules then the rest is our own personal opinions.
If rules aren't right then they need to be sorted for next season, tactical subs can be eliminated quite easily with making people get permission off opponents but a lot of the time people have been just jumping at Ash because it's him.
I wasn't around last few seasons, fair enough so I don't know what has gone on before but if people were genuine about wanting to make the clan leagues better for everyone and bigger again then they would be happy to just get the rules changed for next season and drop the attacks.
People forget that this is a nice bloke (my opinion and experience) and he's getting insults like 'no wonder your missus left you' over an online game of bashing balls.

Thanks for the kind words Tappy mate, On the whole i think i am a nice person and wish could convey that side a lot more than i have been doing recently.

Seeing my name slandered pretty much every day and every thread does take it's toll and my defence mechanism is to 'attack back'. I have made 'tactical subs/swaps' I'm not going to lie but that's all done within the boundaries of the rules.

Do I manipulate the rules, yes sometimes, we all do and those who say they don't aren't deceiving others but themselves as well. Is it against the rules to bend them to your own advantage - No is the answer.

We have a great group of players and they deserve my very best - IF that meant ensuring we win a match then 'go for it' I say. There have been too many players on here who would rather watch Pros and Uprising (throw in the Upcoming UB's) just win everything season in, season out. All I've done for a few seasons now is try and create an extra competition for them. We haven't won anything BUT have stifled their wins and aided our own existence.

I'd like subs to be limited, swaps completely abolished, home and away fixtures (where the teams cannot play their same opponents twice), the fun factor rekindled, no arguing, no pathetic bickering over a sub.

It's so easy to point the finger just remember when you do 3 are pointing back in your own direction.

There are far too many people on here that just make stuff up to fit their agenda! There have only been 2 seasons when Uprising have won anything. When we got promoted to div one we did it finishing in 2nd place! If you take in their record before they reformed, I think UB's have been more successful than us overall. This continual success story you attribute to us is simply not true. Pro's, UT's, Snooker Squad and many more have pipped us to silverware. Chips n Gravy and TFS would've too if they could've lasted a season.

UBs might win some SL silverware if we lucky this season

But next season is ours..We are going from 3rd best team to 1st..like the flash gets from A to B.

That's the point though. I look at most of the other captains and think they aren't doing anything to bend the rules yet you find it perfectly acceptable. This is the fundamental reason this thread attracts so much grief. And your attack back post holds no water as you have made digs and unnecessary comments first on plenty of occasions. It's good you have finally admitted you would and try to cheat/ 'bend the rules' where you can. The next step in rehabilitation is to now stop it. The rest of the site would then be happy and by no major miracle you and your clan would to. It's not that hard to phathom it and I find it immensely frustrating that you can't.
