completely evenly matched, perhaps with me clearing from harder positions, i had one big slice of luck go for me in the 9 ball i won but a couple of times got pretty unlucky, he had a couple of flukes and a gift of a break in 9 ball which made all the difference in the end.

cheers mate. reading his essay seems he was watching a different match. i wouldnt personally say 9-6 was fair it had 8-7 either way written all over it but maybe I'm being completely unreasonable maybe I was outplayed....

Thanks for the offer, at present both the FBL fixtures are sorted and the deadline for the FCL is 1st Feb. It's too early to sub you in just yet. Will monitor the matches and you'll be first sub if and when required.

You see it how you do and he sees it as he does, usually with him being brilliant or unlucky. From a neutral perspective it sounds and looked like whoever took say two frames it then spurred the other player to dig deep and catch up. I'd say a draw or 7/8 / 8/7 would have been a fairer result but nevertheless the 6 are very good and hopefully the team can add too them. The fixtures still anyone's at the moment. All good matey.
