we were completely even in terms of play even though I'm not really a morning person. both our safety play was top, my snookering and his escapes were often impossibly good getting object balls safe. he fluked a couple of balls in 9 ball to win frames and think that made the difference in the end. had draw written all over it but wasn't to be

I played very well on the us table, in both types believe it or not, just had horrible luck in 9us.
I started slow in 8uk, not my best, a couple of ul positions too. Tightened up tho by the end, finished with a runout.

He played well, made a few unbelievable shots, but I think luck aside the score would've been more like 9 or 10 to me. Not knocking him or his ability (he's very good), but I was hot today!
