Done a cracking job with my old clan mate, you're a credit to them
would like to say a huge thanks to everyone that played & helped us retain the FBL title , not been easy losing a few players and our captain mattywellie its been a pleasure to run this team for the last few months

Grand Slam Cup Semi-Finals v XVth Man
I got out of the blocks quick to take a 2-0 lead. Over-ran the white into the pocket in the 3rd and James stole in (2-1). I felt a turnaround in fortunes was coming in the 4th with James in total control; trapping one of my balls close to the pocket with his ball over the jaws. I tried to force mine off the cushion with a tight double... but missed and the white ricocheted to safety (3-1). If that game had gone the other way, and with the tie at 2-2, i think the end result would have been different.
overall, 6-2 to me

Well done mate and nah result would have been the same as i could have been 4-0 down (maybe 3-1 as it was giving the safety) but you outplayed me tonight and knowing i had to win gave me that little added pressure (although i didn't feel it much it was at back of my mind)

As always, it was a tough match. I was tight, he was in an ultra attacking mode. I did feel that I didn't get much roll of the ball. I got lucky probably twice, and a few of his positional shots, were very fortunate to land where they did, and Fran being a class play that he is, took advantage of that. In the first three frames in UK, he broke and cleared, got rather fortunate on the position to the last two yellows. I went in off, when the white ball got knocked into the pocket - again, last yellow to the black was fortunate. Then, the third frame, and baring in mind, I only need one frame more to secure it, he broke, a lovely break it was, potted, and didn't get onto the last yellow, and gave me two visits.

The Round 2 draw is ...
XVth Man vs The Revolution vs The Professionals
Games to be completed by 15th February 2015.
Each match allows for a maximum of 5 players to take part from each of the three competing clans.
Remember the more players you have in the game the more points you will score. And it will be the highest scoring Runner-Up from the two games which qualifies for the Final along with the two Winners!!
Each Captain, or a representative, needs to message me as many days and times within the fixture period that they wish to play.
Preferences of times and dates for which you would like to play your Killer Challenge Cup games between now and 15/2/15.
