Superb FBL result, PD's are no pushovers. Great start to a title challenge.

I think eri has changed the scores

8US 3 - 2 (run-out for each)

First frame I clear to the black, put it over the whole, he misses and I pot it. Second frame I clear down to the black, pot an awesome black along the rail (was a really thin cut) but the white comes across the rail, cannons into one of his balls and goes in off. Then he runs out in the next (it was a decent run-out so fair play). I responded with a run-out of my own and cleared off his break in the last.

9Ball 2 - 3 (run-out for him)

Ridiculous here again. I clear off his break in the first. He clears off mine in the second, I clear off his in the third. Fourth frame I break and leave him a dolly 4-9 plant (9 over the pocket). He breaks in the fifth and gets left a simple clearance to run out again.

8UK 4 - 1 (run-out for me)

First frame he clears off my break. Second frame I clear off his. Third frame I run-out. Fourth frame and fifth frame I took out nice clearances off of his misses.

On paper, with the run-outs and clearances it looks like I came out lucky to win 9-6. In reality it's a bit grating that most of his clearances were simple gifts where the balls fell incredibly nicely. Nevertheless he still had to take them out and on the odd occasion he did get fortunate was honest about it.
