8us, I played a nice 7 balling and decided that I should spin the white ball towards the middle pocket not against and so fouled on the black. Would've given me the opportunity to go 3-0 up and it was a sign of things to come.

9us was a shocker, never got going and it didn't seem to run my way. Made a silly error one frame, he played well the next, I scratched on the 8 ball after he gifted me the frame and then just as it was looking like a whitewash after another mistake by me he rather unfortunately fired it me back. (To be honest my memory is a little hazy, can't quite remember how he messed up but I know he did).

8uk was pressure on, had to be composed and was in the first two frames to play well and see the first two frames out to go level (you'd think the pressure would be off now that I'm back in the game). One failed clearance later and I'm back behind and rightly so tbh. Then a rinse and repeat, only for him to knock the black in setting up his final ball with nothing on the table.

Tiebreaker I have him the option of an 8 ball and we agreed 8uk. I went for the runout and under hit on the last colour. Then again he proceeded to clear, and as good as rattled the corner pocket with the black to leave it for me.

Never mind the jaws of defeat, I was in it's belly at one point and to go through after that baffles me still. Good games mate and very harsh to go out

Just to add, chappy played some great shots and made things difficult and punished me. A few times it was just one shot the difference between a win and a loss. He was just happy to go so close, whereas I was thinking he had me beaten.

Any chance one er our lads can get on and play me in a friendly, our lass has gone to work and cos a lot er stuff is still packed up i cant find pc leads, so ive been playing on netbook and dont seem bad, but would like to play someone decent b4 commiting to play a clan ghame on it

Untidy at firsty, i missed a runout in 8us , ball disturbed then snookered on shot b4 8, i then missed a run out in 9us to go 4 1 up, when i played a 3 9 combo and double knuckled, rest er games were both ways, with a couple er mistakes

Did what you needed to mate, they need a perfect 9-0 to get a draw so you've as good as confirmed the win there barring an act of god.
