Based my selection on who is in good form, who did well last time vs Uprising and SL point %.

indeed they did, but that may not have made too much difference, they have alot of depth compared to use. We lost SL semi for A because we had noone log in, the B's lost because scott seems to be backing down from pool & left us with a reserve to put in.

next season will be more interesting, especially if pete stay's although he didn't give me an answer when we played yesterday.

Yeah we've had players missing but we are not ones for making excuses when we lose

Also you had all your 'A' reserves log in at times before the deadline and I am told at least two agreed to sub in. But none actually played. Thats just unfortunate.

It is a shame Scott seems to be giving up though as he has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

SL Shield doesn't count according to the Pro's since they lost it last season but won the Grand Final (coincidentally, I don't think a team has both both the League Shield and Grand Final in the same season other than Snooker Squad - who were truly the best of the competition).

Chris will correct me if I'm wrong, but since an Uprising side will lose this final this is the 3rd season in a row one of our teams has been the Grand Final runner up and the first time a team has got both its teams in the final. Not a bad achievement

You make it sound like you lost it, rather than us winning it . Pretty much a straight swap in the amount won from last season, except we got another all uprising final. We were missing our best player (and easily the best player of last season) for the entire season, and another few throughout so to push you guys so far in every team competition is pretty good. Plus we lead the SL the whole season till the final league set, where we had to split our team to face both Pro's at once which cost us our unbeaten record, but we've turned it around in the next 2 fixtures.

As you said last season, we'll be back next season to take our titles . For now we can enjoy the success of this season with a special final.

It is buddy, a real shame especially considering you brought your side back from the brink of elimination only to lose by default and it's not how anyone wants to win from the position we were in. But unfortunately that's the way things go sometimes, plenty of chances at redemption next season though!
