Wow what a game to decide the fixture. I started in the first and cleared to my last ball and the run out was on and I missed. Derik then cleared to his last ball and not sure if it was a mouse error or he lagged but was very unlucky and left me the game. He then had a nice clear to level at 1-1. Onto 9 ball and he again was very unlucky with a in off which left me the clear for 2-1. I then potted the 1 and snookered myself on the blue, I managed to hit and he then made a very nice clear for 2-2. Onto uk and I knew I was going to need them both for UB to win after I broke dry so the run out was off, after a tactical exchange I managed a nice clear to win the first, the second frame again was tactical and I went for a shot that was really do or die but I thought it might be my only chance, I got the pot and done one of my best clears for a while to win 4-2 which means UB sneak the win for the fixture.

Very good games mate, if the short format means more games like this I am all for it

Unlucky uprising...as faust says this short format does affect all teams.

Very strange game I raced into a 3-0 lead with every game I had luck of some sort. It then turned on me in the 4th when it was looking like 4-0 the luck changing got him back in it and for the next few he was getting the breaks which meant after 9 ball I found myself 6-4 down. I managed to win the first 2 uk as the bad luck joined him to level up. I then snookered myself on my last ball for a run out and he cleared. We then had a tactical game which he managed to edge after a couple of nice snookers. 8-6 down going into the last game and I again was on a run out, cut my last ball it was heading for the pocket, the white then hit one of his and it run round and knocked it just at the pocket to keep it out. The balls were all set and I expected a 9-6 loss when he lagged on the black to leave me an easy finish for 8-7.
