Started playing my game with nathyboy, started with 9us, it seems to be his least favourite type also.

Started out ok, nicking the first frame, then i fluked 1-9 combo, played well to make it 3-0, missed a sitter for 4-0 and then took the last to make it 4-1 to me. Neither of us played great, but i do think I deserved an advantage.

Into 8uk, I knew he would be better here, so when he missed I went for the clear, only to misjudge a cannon and leave the white in no mans land, then he started snookering me, escaped 3 times, then he left me a thin cut over the length of the table, but put too much top spin on it and the white flew in. He then ran out of position, snookered me well, but i played to escape the snooker and pot my last ball, managed it and landed perfect for the black.
Last frame we played, I am a bit annoyed about myself, I should have won it, but didnt get enough power into the cue ball, by about 1cm, left it hard and the black edged the middle pocket giving him a carry and he cleared well.

OVR 5-2 to me with 2 frames of 8uk and 5 8us to play.

Finished my games with nathyboy, glad I built up a lead last night, as he beat me 5-3 today!

These frames were all very tactical, with an error usually costing the frame.

OVR 8-7 to me

Sorry guys, had a bloody mare in this set of games against thegreatone7 coming off the back of some good play against nathy, I thought I stood a good chance of winning this one.

8us, I went for glory each time I got in, which was my downfall, so when I played tactical this worked better for meaning i scraped some games, but I had no luck with the balls, any cannon or flick would either send the white in, or snooker me. Got frustrating, but I was lucky to walk out trailing by only a frame.

9us, Beth didn't win these, I gifted her all 5 on a plate. Although she gave me one back by missing a 9 and leaving it over the bin.

8uk, as usual, knowing I had to produce something spectacular to avoid embarrassing myself, I decided to play safe pool. First 2 managed to grab a carry and win the frame. Third frame, I potted one too many balls and she kept snookering me, and it was only a matter of time until I gave her a carry, and she eventually cleared. Then she fouled the black (very unlucky) then i produced a good last frame to at least keep overall very close.

OVR 8-7 to Beth, very good games, she wont argue that I had no luck in 9us, but she took her chances well. Well played chuck gl in future

I can sub into a game for the next wee while and tomorrow night but will struggle after then I think.
