how come you can't pot more then one ball in straight pool

nowhere in any rules does it state that you cant pot multiple balls, i have lost so many frames due to this stupid rule

I have to agree with hustler. I am not the best at the game but I enjoy straight and wen u pot more than one ball and its a foul its annoying. I think its a skill to pot more than one ball and u should be allowed to play on.

on flyordie not only do u get to play on you actually get 2 points or however many you pot

If the rule wasn't there though you would have the better players hitting 500+ runs etc. Taking forever every frame.

It would be nice however to have the option when you create the game to change it to multiple pots allowed or first to 75, 130 or even 200 etc. These changes won't be happening anytime soon anyway so you'll have to put up with the rules for the foreseeable future.

I suggested changing the pot limit months ago, like all other good ideas, not been listened to yet.

It's alright for the players not capable of hitting those runs saying that, you think me, seb, tinie, turtle or the other handful of players that are capable want to sit there for literally an hour pot after pot after pot? xD Takes about 15-20 mins to hit a century and that's playing pretty quickly. I like the way it is, it limits things, adds an element of luck to it also!

It also ensures that people dont just smash the place up all the time and get away with it. When you smash, you sometimes get lucky and pot one, but often you either get nothing or more than one.
More skill involved this way.

Its fairly simple
You cant call shots, so there has to be somethin else.
Even in real matches it isnt allowed to pot two or more balls. Except you call the first ball that drops..

i think two balls should be allowed but only if you NOMINATE the two balls you are going to pot :)
