Just finished playing emma in the SL, gutted by my poor showing really, a draw really would have fair but for a slight bit of misfortune.

8us, I lost in the first game, cleared everything off her break up to black, left a tricky black double, it skimmed another ball and went safe, only for emma to pull it all back and one of the best tactical battles ive seen, where she had me cornered and there was nothing I could do.
Second frame saw me mess up a positional shot for a runout, she won the third potting well, i won the 4th in a scrappy manner.

9us, this is where i was kicking myself, went 1-0 up, then broke off, left a tough 2-9 combo where i had to play the blue onto the rail and into the 9, the 9 rattled and she cleared. Then the third frame i was poor, missing a mid distance 3, then she cleared, 4th she missed a 5, but i made a hash of position on the 7, leaving her an easy clearance. 4th frame, she missed a 6, put it safe with the black, then she fluked the 7 by hitting the 6.

8uk, won the 1st, second i was on for a runout, then a smidge too much of top saw the white go in off another ball when i had perfect position on the black. third frame emma played really well here, nothing i could do, but then the last frame, nothing potted off break, so head dropped a bit. but went for my pots, only to flick off the black and snooker myself on the last ball. carry and clear for emma.
