Dont suppose anyone knows how to fix tthis?? somethings blocking funkypool and im no good at computers, running windows 8, google chrome, anyone know how to fix this?
i havent touched anything on computer since i last played funkypool, now suddenly this???!?!?!

right mate I had the same problem java has blocked the page what ya gotta do is go to control panel then go to java then when another page pops up theres a few things at the top and one says security click that and drag it down to medium

hope this works for you pal
I use windows 8 and chrome to so should be the same situation

yeah my bro just did same for me.. stupid isnt it.. yesterday pool was fine, didnt touch a thing on laptop out of the ordinary, just logged off pool, turned net off, put some music on and whent to bed, wake up this morning and it wont let me on pool? wtf face :?L:?"<>

yeah i messaged nick about it.. his been offline 15 days, was gonna message spinner, but he been offline 6 months, so messaged flapjack he was online today.. hope 1 of these admins can deal with this... i dont wanna be messen around with my computers security every time i wanna play pool.. i dont understand enough about computers to be messen around with that crap .. no way ... all i do is play games on computers. dont know how to fix problems and stuff

lol i guess with nick / spinner being offline for so long. they haven't updated pool in a while ,and pools certificate / security / liscense / what ever it is, is out of date or something . thats all i can think off :/

have you down loaded
both java
32 and 16 bit

i had mega problems with windows 8
but down load both then click all acceptances

Medium should be default (recommended) - so why is it on high in the first place? Obviously if it's on HIGH it's pretty much locked (hence padlock).

Strange. All Security parameters should be set to their default levels.

You can always add this site to the Exception list btw. But if easier to just keep sliding the scroll bar down then do that. Reasons for the added security parameters are on here:

Yeah im having this problem now aswell. When i load up the funkypool server this is what its saying..

Application Blocked by Security Settings.

Your security settings have blocked an application signed with an expired or not yet valid certificate from running.

I was playing it fine yesterday morning, haven't touched my laptop since an now this.. Anyone help?

"The application's digital signature has expired" that's why.
So perhaps it needs updating or something. Guessing Nick hasn't been on the site for a while to update it?
Perhaps that's why people are struggling to get online as it is not classified as a safe site without it.

that's more likely the case if anyone has the same problem just Control Panel > Java > Security change to medium

seems mine is on medium but after opening the control panel where do i find java hidden ?


it should be there it will say Java (16 bit) or (32 bit) or (64 bit)

if its not there then ive no clue sorry
