If you were the script writer, Villa would be in the top 4, dreaming of 1982 again

I think the script should be that Gerrard puts the most amazing ball over the ball for Studge/Sterling to run onto, beating Jags for pace and so Jags brings him down, just outside the box. Jags then gets RED.
Stevie steps up and plants the FK in the top left corner. He just stands there whilst all the fans in the stadium applaud at the legend. Standing ovation from the crowd. And he just bows to the fans. Robles walks over and pats him on the back.
Final score, 2-1 to the reds

1-0 to Everton, Gerrard sent off in his final Merseyside derby, scrap between him and Barry (most booked player in Premier League).
Now that's a script.

That's a United script, would probably include you signing Hummels and ever being in the title hunt this season fat chance of those ever happening this season, so I'm now hopeful Gerrard won't be sent off if that's your prediction

Lol no that'll be in the summer by then too late for Gerrard will be in MLS by then. Hummels alongside Varane with Depay on the wing. Sell Valencia and bring in Clyne, then we're sorted. Maybe Verrati or Gundogan to replace the forever injured Carrick too.

A script would be:
Gerrard gives away a pen, then scores an own goal. After halftime scores a freekick, wins and scores a pen and in the dying seconds bags a 40 yard thunderbolt for the win

As if Varane would pick United over Chelsea, Hummels is settled as captain of Dortmund so I imagine he won't leave unless they're relegated.

He will Start and be subbed out on the hour mark, he will be fuming at such a decision he gets Rodgers in a headlock and pushes him to the ground.
Or he'll be too emotional and overcome with tears he'll create a puddle and slip over again.
Or he'll score a fortuitous penalty from a Sterling dive but still lose to a late Barkley strike.
The last ones more likely.

He's not settled at all, Dortmund are sitting Bottom of the Bundesliga and the moment Reus in April says where he's going so will Hummels. He said they are playing 'pathetic', that is not someone settled. Gundogan will most probably leave and so will Augmeyemang, Immobile is wanted by Arsenal too.

I suppose Hummels will join United....just like Cuadrado did

It's a little thing called passion, he isn't playing for the pay check he plays for the team. He's clearly determined to turn things around and will hope they get back up to the top next season. If he was unsettled and thought Dortmund were pathetic he would've gone in January.

Commendable he wants to complete the season and fight for his team, the fact his team at present is capitulating before his very eyes will encourage him to make the decision to leave.
It's only a matter of time before he joins United and becomes the next Vidic.
