Not seen this anywhere - but surely only a matter of time before De Gea to Real Madrid raises its head??!!

It was obvious the run was going come to an end soon how united have bin playing, credit to villa fully deserved the draw with 10 men and had a couple of chances to win the game at the end, what a goal by benteke!!!!!

United are yet to offer a new contract but one for £36m is being touted about - I think he'll stay for now but after this contract will move to Real Madrid. Madrid have Keylor Navas - he's very good himself.

IF he does go then United will go for either Hugo LLoris or Sergio Romero.

It's quite logical for both sides, only issue is he came through from Atletico Madrid.

As for United today, typical I back them for a win and they let me down! Knew it.

Logical for a Liverpool fan who have a great keeper in Mignolet just instill no belief or support for/in him. Instead play Brad Jones who is useless and look like they've signed Guilermo Ochoa in January. I feel for Mignolet, he were brilliant at Sunderland, all he needs is a decent defence in front of him and some confidence.

David De Gea got so much stick when he first arrived, now he's settled like ALL United fans were saying he would. He's always been a great keeper just a little unorthodox (preferring to save with his legs and the opposite hand) compared to others. I'm glad he's showing what he can do and what he did when at Athletico Madrid.

Do we want and need to sell? No
Will we cash in a sell? No
Will he sign a New Contract Yes I think & hope so.

I've put more faith on Mignolet than most, time on the sides did Hadt well so it should do Mignolet well. He didn't earn his place, he was brought in and too many mistakes have been there even with the defence. Make him train harder and harder to get back in the first team and we can reap the benefits of a confident keeper because he doesn't believe in himself. Jones isn't good enough to hold down the number one spot but he'll do his best to keep it as long as he can.

If there's no sign of improvement we can always go for Cech/Valdes to give us a short term answer. We need a CB and CF, possibly a GK depending on how Mignolet is doing.

Most united fans didn't say that, I know some that accused him of being a waste of money and wanted him dropped. I actually thought he just needed time, he was fine other than being unable to deal with long shots.

With how the EPL is, there is no guarantee of regular CL football unless you're at Chelsea or City (perhaps Arsenal too with their track record of being good for sneaking a top 4 place). At Real (or other continental giants), you do get that guarantee. If he wants to be the national number one, Holding the number one jersey for Real is the best place for him. Clearly logical for him if he was being completely impartial. For Madrid they can get a GL good enough to replace Casillas, and the next National number 1 who could hold his place for 5-10 years. Logical.

Mignolet is class
he needs to work more on catching the ball, from crosses
his shot stopping is unreal

but to be fair he hasn't got a defence in front of him

Didn't realise today was the longest day of the year, that's a massive 46 hour day if it goes on until the end of the Chelsea game

Liverpool vs Arsenal is the other game today

So crap he bags us a point with a cracking header

A very hard won point, should've been three but was very nearly none. What is Borini playing at, blood rush and 2 silly incidents got him sent off. Right decision but Arsenal should've already been down to 10, referee consistency was off.

Great performance and the sending off didn't effect us really, more performances like that and we'll be back up the table no problem.

My gran could have scored that and she's dead, no marking whatsoever.

More games like that and you'll be mid table where you belong on this season's rubbish displays. West Ham are playing better than you and I'll even throw in Swansea just for my mate gillings

Liverpool got lucky, very boring match, the Tyne and Wear derby were by far more enjoyable.

Nice trolling

not a boring match at all, plenty of drama. Good possession and plenty of chances and shots. Just need someone to finish chances and we'll get more points.

Liverpool were much better tonight! Even coming from a United fan they dominated the game but it's pretty obvious where the issues lie.
Up front no clear skill or anyone for the final execution! The keeper is average but eh don't most sides struggle to fine a best goal keeper!

Great game and Arsenal didn't deserve a draw
