I didn't think it were a penalty he didn't extend his arm to block the ball, he rotated his body with his arm on his hip. How is that handball, nonsense.

Also the Referee's view were obstructed just like the match between United and City last Sunday.

Fair result 2-1 - could have been more for Chelsea but final ball were disappointing and Liverpool blocked when needed too. I dont think Dejan Lovren looks comfortable in a Liverpool jersey at all, not the player he were when at Southampton.

That was a clear handball, he was meters away from the player who shot the ball so he had all the time to regulate his hand position.

I agree it was hard for the referee to see though, but u cant say it wasnt a penalty.

He didn't deliberately stick his hand out to block the shot from Gerard, so I don't think it were a penalty.

If anything, he moved his arm out of the way and towards his body.

Of course u can have your own opinion, but that for me is a penalty all day long. Rules say u cant touch the ball with your hands, unless the ball is in a close distance to player or if hands are stick to his body.

Arm by his side by forearm sticking unnaturally out and he leans towards the ball. He had time to react, so it should be a pen. Deliberate doesn't have to be obvious.

Yeah i agree, it's open to interpretation but interpretation to the Law that surely is not a handball. Where else is he meant stick his arm? Some of the handballs given this season and previous have been absurd, many i would not call 'deliberate handball',

But that's just my opinion.

The ball would not have hit his arm had he not moved deliberately into it's path. He could've tried a block with his foot/leg, but there's a good chance he'd have missed hence why he got his body behind the ball. He could've put his hands behind his back, which wouldn't really have made a difference to his balance. It's open to interpretation of course, but the red can only give it if he see' sit and I think that was the issue, not the deliberate act.

QPR just been denied a perfectly legitimate goal, Hart kicked the ball twice.

Correct decision to deny the goal, wrong decision to have Hart retake the kick, should be indirect freekick the other way

Yeah I agree but to deny them the indirect free kick and deny the goal is wrong.

Apparently the call was correct...

"If, when a free kick is taken by the defending team from inside its own penalty area, the ball is not kicked directly out of the penalty
-the kick is retaken."

Kue will love you for that one
but

dreams are made for dreamers
wba all the way for me

3-0 was only a goal out, WBA win was far out. Think you were dreaming too much of Newcastle crashing and burning

The other two from today you were horribly off the mark like I have been all weekend (apart from Newcastle I got spot on). Now the Swansea Arsenal match I need 6 goals this half

Southampton haven't got a big enough squad to finish 3rd. They're playing well but only because they have confidence, a couple of defeats could lead to a landslide and probably leave them around 7th or 8th
