This game can be unbearable at times..... What is it all about? Is there any skill involved? Or is it all just hit and hope!!
A Game can be ended in a flash, if the run of the tables is against you, your done for!
What's peoples views? All i know is as soon as i see that 9 ball i just smash what ever ball is on into it!
I wouldn't put any money on a game if it's my opponents turn to break :D

I have not played 9ac in months, I hate the game, there is some skill involved, but if you want to reduce the luck level involved, play 9us.

I never understood that. If you have clear pots on, why would you risk missing/losing the frame by smashing it at the 9 ball? Surely a higher % of the time, if you're semi-competent, you can clear the table with lower risk to the game? Or are you just hopeless lol?

Yeah i don't see you being competent at 8UK has anything to do with you being hopeless at 9arc table clearances. Not that i even called you hopeless, i simply asked if you were.

As for 9arc, no, not 9/10. More like 3/10. Whereas if you have a clear first shot you can clear like 6/10 (If you're not hopeless that is)

A lot of it is luck, but u can't just smash em as the cue ball can go in off or behind another ball

A lot of people diss 9 arc for its luck and big pockets. But i bet if you try controlling the cue ball on that table like you would on a US table you'll see theres a lot of work to improve on. Not constant going in-off. There is a lot of skill 9 arc. You need to use positional play at its best. Theres that, and then theres hit and hoping.
