there was a tournament a few months back, run by ooo_u_tap_2 (i think) but he said that if any newbies wanted to join, they had to lose their newbie tags before the tournament started, else they were not allowed to play.

yeah well i aint ooo_tap_u_2....

Naah, only joking, would we all prefer a ranked tournament?

The only thing I question is peoples abilty to stick a tourney out, if a few people have made the effort to lose their newb tags, then they are obvioulsy very keen.

Obvioualy it is your tourney, so you have every right to run it as you see fit.

But what is to stop someone like myself, resetting the day before the you do the draw, so my rank is lower than it is now, so I could possibly have a more favourable draw?

because i have been playing this long enough to know good players are mate :P
