Thank you.
I believe the way of arranging these Killer games, which was the key point on trial in this first attempt, does work.
Moving forward then, anyone is free to propose any changes to the competition format, game format, scoring or anything else as long as...
1) It does not do away with the underlying principle of Killer in that the last player/team standing will always win.
and
2) The number of fixtures involved in the overall competition does not become excessive and burdensome.
Anything else is free rein.

Again i wouldn't like to see anything change the problem i have though chris is simple ..... i do believe 1st place should get more points but at the same time this is team killer not individual killer .. surely if say team a finish 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th .. yet team b finish 1st 11th 12th 13th 14th .. surely team a has still done a better job than team b?
22:30 Wed 22 Oct 14 (BST) [Link]
I agree it is meant to be team killer as opposed to the best individual, but as teams start with different number of players there is not an easy solution, yes they can all get 5 in an ideal world but there was a lot that didn't.
I do think that getting 3 of your players into last 4 should have some merit in clan killer, but as it stands it can stand for nothing if the 4th player wins.

I have been having a similar conversation with the_only_ego.
Although it is team killer, the underlying principle of Killer remains that everything is irrelevant other than who is the last player/team standing.
That said the scores for places did matter in deciding the second and third places and therefore decided who qualified and who was eliminated in previous rounds. The scores achieved also determined a clan's draw in the subsequent round.
I don't see how you could have a credible format where the 'killed' players can defeat the 'unkilled' player.
Plus any player should be able to take part knowing they could win for their team. Otherwise one team that only had one or two players available would almost certainly lose to any clans with four or five. The nature of the game itself means that it would be hard enough for them to win given those circumstances but at least they do stand some chance of doing it.

Part of me agrees with matty and chris, undecided really on that particular issue. I've always been intrigued though, at the idea of the player in first guaranteeing a draw, and the rest of his team needing to do better than last place to bring home the win,
but as keith pointed out already, we don't have a guaranteed number of players here, so that idea is rendered more of a problem than it's worth.
It could be fair and work great though, if it was a league type thing (rather than a knockout-ish/cup type thing), where every team plays every other team, with a smaller size game with just 2 teams per game (maybe 4 or 5 from each) so as to lessen how often we have games with missing players, where the points from all games played go to an overall table. I'd prefer that regardless of whether this 'possible draw' idea is implemented btw (the league type thing), the outcome of one or two games wouldn't mean much (unless there are bonus points for winning games, or a ridiculous amount of points awarded for 1st), but I don't know how many people are willing to play that many games of killer in a season.
