I don't think it would be terrible shock if Colombia or Chile went the distance going by the way they have played in their first two group games.

None of the Europeans or Brazil or Argentina have been fantastic yet. Groups sometimes give a distorted view though.

ha.. yeah but sure what do you expect from a country with a terrible national league, and the fact soccer is only about the 3rd or 4th most popular sport in the country

in my opinion we have the 3rd best league in the world now behind spanish and bundesliga MY OPINION. and i think we went in with the wrong team the first two games .. i dont think the manager knew how to get the best out of his players.

Yeah true.. gerrard was crap yet they only ever talked about how good or bad rooney might be.

gerard was shocking in the first game but it got overlooked cos hodgson scapegoated rooney out on the left wing.

second game everyone saw how bad gerard was. two yards too slow the pundits all saying he has to stay on is the most shocking thing to me .

I must say though it was a lovely ball through to his fellow liverpool player

LMFAO he certainly knows how to set suarez up .... statistically rooney was our best player one assist and one goal.

The assist was lovely though.. very nice cross.

I thought england played best in their last game when they had all the young guys on.
