Overall: 6-8 - Great games, Aled told me he were 0-2 down after the 1st frame so to pull it back were great, he erased that runout only for the 8uk one to decide the overall match.

Well played Aled and tension of course, comes back to haunt us...but not so much.

Joe is going away at the weekend, and bigcjl is too hard to get hold of to risk not swapping. harry is on everyday so there's no risk.

5.8 Swapping two players
As a means to combat time zone problems, reduce the need for the making of multiple substitutions or other similar situations, clans may swap two of their players within a match if this improves chances of games getting played.


I have made a swap for this precise reason. Both players are online and available to play. If you refuse to play this swap then fine - but the legitimate swap remains.

And I'm entitled to swap/reverse when i clearly stated via offline message our intentions, meaning your reason for a swap is void.

I asked you to hang fire till a little later when we will have a clear indication what's happening. It's is not our fault your player cannot be available the duration of the entire fixture up till deadline day. That is your problem, you will either have to be patient or make a sub in due course.

I think the evidence of you willfully avoiding playing the fixture is here for all to see. The swap remains, pirate will NOT be playing Harry - and we'll see how the default process treats us.

Well seeing as all the league runners are in your team then hmmm let me guess.

I'm not denying you having genuine reason for a swap but I'm also not accepting a swap when we were speaking civilly and amicably offline when I mentioned we were looking in to it. All we asked were for a little more time, preferably till this evening before any sub/swap from yourself were made.

Yet you still blatantly make a swap not giving one iota what we were discussing so now you want to try and manipulate/bully us into accepting a swap.

You got more chance plaiting fog - We will take our action a little later after I've spoken with our player.

You don't need dialogue with the opposition captain to make a swap in Super League. in fact, even the players themselves can make a swap.

Not once in all my years on this game has any captain asked me if it's ok to make a swap, and not once have I asked anyones permission. Also, not once have I EVER reversed a swap, especially when 2 players are online and available.

My record is impeccable regarding getting games played, and only making genuine swaps. Can you say the same?

That's where we differ as Captains then, no one's right nor wrong, each to their own. I like to treat my players here as friends and not members of staff.

What's the point in making a sub if the other player is not available nor able to play their opponent at the same time. Called being courteous and appreciating players and their circumstances.

I'm not saying you have a crap record as we all know it's impeccable, not surprised with the same antics and actions being expressed yet again versus Phoenix Storm. It's a case of deja vu only you have no one here to manipulate this time.

Ask EVERY other clan if we've ever tried to manipulate? Manipulation is refusing to play games, not doing our best to get games played. You have a terrible reputation amongst the other clans for avoiding getting games played, you won't find a single rival team of Uprising say the same about us!

Antics and actions against Phoenix Storm because we made a LEGITIMATE swap because our player is going on holiday? How DARE you???

Ask Ant or Emma about me. They can criticise my temper, but they'll both tell you I'm straight down the line!

In actual fact you are wrong in both this statement AND making a game harder to get done for no reason.

Both players are available, Harry was available for killer half an hour before the swap. With killer not being arranged, it was always going to take longer than half an hour to get everyone rounded up and a game played. Even if Harry doesn't play now, he usually comes back on after his tea and I'm sure Joe will be about.

bigcjl2 is an evening/night time player which suits pirate too, so no problems there. I don't see the problem of having Harry play Joe? :s
