Another truly amazing match, against I have to say another top tough opponent and a gentleman. He had me in real trouble early on, going 2 - 0 up in 8 Ball US, which for once wasn't my strongest. I somehow had to fight back hard in very tactical games, got back to 2 - 2, he won the last for 2 - 3. I thought my chance of winning the match had gone. Somehow I found some amazing form in 9 US, going 3 - 0 up, although he missed an easy black in 3rd frame. He won the last 2, for 5 - 5 overall going into 8 UK. I felt so good in 8 UK, playing safely and tactically. In the 3rd frame I snookered him about 6 to 8 times, he eventually succumbed, fouling, and I cleared for the win. Amazing win.

9us: 5-0 (2 run outs me)

It began in 8us where he was just on the top of his game, first 3 frames, i always had just 1 shot, .. twice breaking and once just not potting to begin, he always cleared on all 3 occassions and 7 balled me, i saw nothing coming from here. Then next frame i did good, but left a long black, i should of potted it but missed, he took it. Thankfully last i managed to take for 1-4 not 0-5. Then came 9us, the big change took place, first frame, i broke, 1 in, 2-9 set, got it, ran out. 2nd frame, he broke, i cleared, 3rd frame.. i broke, and he didnt get anywhere much and i cleared. then 4th he took, and 5th i broke, potting the 1, leaving 9 ball outside top left pocket, and potted the 2 with backspin for the combo and run out. At this stage luck and form was with me better than ever. Then we went onto 8uk and many frames he went for clears but didnt get far enough and then tapped or found himself stuck and i always managed to clear perfectly, getting the balls into play needed in all places. I made only about 1 error here, in the frame i lost on a go at a run out. I did make 1 or 2 very good clears that werent easy. Overall from 0-4 down to win 10-5 i am shocked and amazed at how i did and how it went. Pleasure to play, ggs! wp 8us, ul rest.

Another very close tight match. As the score suggests, the 9 Ball really was the difference, liam showed great form in that, and potted a wonderful 1 - 9 combination in frame 3 of 9 Ball.

in 8us i began with one tough 7 balling i somehow did! Then from here it was scrappy stuff in 1 or 2 frames, but was even pretty much, i could of took 1 more maybe. Then came 9us, both of us could of ran the rack, but didnt manage to, it was scrappy and hit and miss a bit here too but 2-2 was fair, some good potting finishes. Then came 8uk, and he always went for the clear start of rack, so i often put him in a tough place for it, and he often failed and 1 or 2 times fouled giving me it. Also on easy finishes he often find himself left tough positional shots or tough pots, and often missed going for them at tight angles. I always cleared, potted well here. ggs!

unlucky pal, i almost class imran as a robot on snooker so nothing to be ashamed of.

just wish my tower wasnt broken as with my tactics on the table, i feel i could get a close result
