He has only gone and done it! Led his team to the county final!

Was a tense game, in a first to 10, we led the first leg 5-4.
Went back to our home pub, lost the first 3 legs, which put us in an awkward position but we won the next 2, before I lost my singles. going into the last 3 games, had to make a hard decision, drop my friend and one of the longest serving members on the team, he had played a shocker in his singles, and play our super sub, who had never lost.

I decided to stick with my friend, and partner myself with him, first double, we won. second, we won.

So we were up 9-8, knowing if we lost, it would go to a tie breaker.
My friend broke off, dry. damn.
they missed a pot, my turn, cute shot running the red down the length of the cushion, rattled my next.
the potted a few, then missed an easy double.
my friend hit the balls hard, scattered them, left all mine pottable, but didnt pot anything himself.
they clear up to the black, and then jaw it and leaves it on the cushion near middle pocket.
first shot was used to pot and dislodge the red on the side rail, then a couple of shots later, 1 red, 1 black remaining.
I left myself very short on a red into the corner, if i went for the cut, in/off, i go for the double and miss, he has an easy black.
But he goes for it, sinks it and leaves a tap in. Boom.

I know its not part of our clan pool, but im proud to have led my team to the final! Come on the BOWL

Just avoid names that make you sound like a sex toy, like The Black Scorpions!!! It's the same reason I didn't call Uprising "The Ramrods", although my real life pool team is now called The Ramrods! lol

To be fair, I thought Phoenix Storm was a silly name, but it's hardly had an adverse effect on them.
