You think it's perfectly acceptable for a child to swear just because they've heard or been around it.
IF you think it's acceptable to create a place for where no rules apply then you're a very misguided individual, rules are set to kerb anything which may be deem offensive, improper, malicious, harmful, inciting. IF people don't like the rules set out on this site then I suggest they go elsewhere.

It's not about choice whether to enter a room of this pathetic nature, the whole idea and principle (supported with irrational and ludicrous examples) should NEVER have even been contemplated.

Look Ash, if your problem is the swearing, like i said. The swearing i'm on the fence with, i neither mind if it's there or not.

The basic principle of the idea, of a Controlled Argumentative Enivronement is not a bad principle however, and i'm open to modifications to the original foundations that i presented in my first post. However, i still think there's a need for this thread.

Also I'm sorry but your comment about you're sick of all the arguments on every thread, I can pretty much guarantee you had a part in them too so don't go playing the 'im righteous card', it doesn't wash.

Look back, I said 'one thing I've learnt is people don't know when to shut up, myself included. Ash on this thread I've been courteous and responded to all your problems with this idea in a sound manner, yet you've been the one calling me stupid and being aggressive. Now I fully admit I play a part in some of the arguments on threads but not all. Now you seem to be pretty strongly disagreeing with this but I'm yet to see anyone other than yourself disagree. If the point comes where more disagree than agree with this idea I will hold my hands up and say that this was a bad idea, but one that I believed in.

Swearing is used as an example, it's the pretty much guaranteed nature of conversation, foul language every sentence, maybe every word with some which will be very off-putting and no-one should even be given the option to display/join/view this so therefore should be prohibited/steered away from this site.

It shouldn't be tolerated on any tbh, so I take back my comment about 'take it to another site', instead take it to the gutter.

I use an expression, keep all the talking for on the tables (baize), keep it as exactly that.

I got to disagree with such a thread to be made .,,. Rules are there for a reason , not to be taking away for those who wish to be abusive / bad language ect.. As for child/children should be protected from all that in the first place.., even if some do use bad language.. Funkypool is a family site for all to use .. Me being 13 myself i dont think it is ok to swear with the excuse well someone else said it so why cant i. That is completly wrong i cut off the speech at the top so i can reply this post comes from the text last page i dont think its ok to swear tbh myself and im within the said age group actually on here i think most arguments on here are 20-40's not children

I've read all the posts up to here but it's not my cup of tea diamond. I've never been one for an 'age restricted forum' which has been requested in the past. For me, the site should remain as family friendly as possible so adding a forum specifically to insult/name and shame/swear at others wouldn't be appropriate in my eyes.

OK maybe to describe it as an argument thread was probably a misstep but a place where if someone disagrees with what someone else has said on a clan thread/league thread/game shouts whatever. That argument is taken to this thread so that the original thread stays free from bickering and t!t-for-tat exchanges.

That was the original concept that I had in mind, this isn't even supposed to be about swearing, I even said in my initial post that swearing would be a stretch and that it benefits for there to not be any swearing.

Irrespective of where a argument would be raised, it will continue until a moderator or admin steps in to halt proceedings. "A specific thread created for these incidents, I believe would not be used!"

Just because disagreements start does not mean that the perpetrators would stop and move to a specific thread to carry on!

Dont think that there is a requirement for this to be created let alone discussed.

Ok what about an age restricted chat room? keep the normal chat room as normal but change the members bar to 18+ room and if people wanna argue and stuff like that then they can.... what happens in the room stays in the room
