Sounds fun flapjack..but the time is always gonna be an issue..

So it there your times i feel it might be best to compromise and start 9-30pm ..its the middle time so seems best..people in early can play people come late can maybe join.? opinion

People can certainly join later on! But then how do we keep score, if we keep score at all?

As u said u had a note pad..so if new people join..it might get tricky..some might pull out,, join in etc..so i think your own time might be best to start..but id be willing to help you out at the start..il have my notepad ready..if u have the answer,...thing is ok...! if someone types in an answer..is it 1st one to answer wins the point? for correct answer..?

I will start it at 9:30.

What I was thinking of doing was 1 point for each right answer. Say the question was, who was the lead singer for Queen? 4 people answered Freddie Mercury, but then 2 people answered Bruce Springsteen, the 4 people would get a point each and then the other two would get no points. Basically a point each for every correct answer given.

I'll send out an announcement at 9:00, 9:20 and then 9:30. Then at 9:35 we start, so everyone has had a chance to get in. These times should hopefully work with the hourly tournaments that are on at the moment so people who have lost the first few rounds should be available by now.

2 hours does seem like a long time though. I was thinking maybe 45mins - 1hour max for the first one, just to get a gauge on what people think of it. After all, it might all turn out to be a shambles.
