Things could have been so different on another day though, he missed a crucial pot on 28 in the first frame and i fluked frame ball in the last frame.
Other than that it was a pretty good standard.

i'm a bit confused too.
2 points a frame, 1 point for each run of 30 or more.
tinie won 3 frames = 6 points
tinie had 3 bonus earning runs = 3 points
howcome he's on 12 for that match? what have I missed

2 points per frame
2 bonus points for a win
1 point each for a draw
1 bonus point for a 30+run
1 bonus point for highest run in the match
Highest run of the fortnight in each league gets a bonus of 2% of that run or 2 points whichever is higher
2nd highest run of the fortnight in each league gets a bonus of 1% of that run or 1 point whichever is higher
Highest run of the season in each league gets a bonus of 10% of that run or 6 points whichever is higher
2nd highest run of the season in each league gets a bonus of 5% of that run or 3 points whichever is higher

first two games were scrappy, then in both of the last frames i landed on 34 with the pack untouched, one i didnt get lucky and ego hit a good 40 to steal the frame, in the last i did get a bit of luck and finished off with a 43. probably a fair result ggs mate.

Some people are too scared to lose their rank lol, the whole point of having the ranked straight league surely is to see improvement in peoples games

I just saw that just now my mistake, although i dont see how it matters. Any clan or pool event ive ever played the norm is friendly so i just assumed it would be the same here. We are both ranked at 780 and the score was 2-2 so the ranks wouldnt have changed anyway and it ended a draw as the rankings would have predicted....

Reasoning behind doing this ranked was to give some extra rewards/more at stake and I was hoping that it would work out that the 2 getting promoted from each league will have built up their ranks by winning these games to the level of the people in the division they are joining and the 2 getting relegated would have lost enough to fit in with the lower division, as I will be releasing the next games as soon as the fixtures are done hoping the seasons will get done quickly enough to have that effect.
Other reason was because you are limited when you make a ranked room to setting it for 700-900 rank etc...here you can play 32 ranked games against people really close to you.
That's the reasoning but I won't be insisting on it, the main thing is that the games get done and people enjoy it
