FCL Fixture 4

PS vs PD

Well, coming into this fixture, with only 1 win under belt was a bit nerve racking, in all my games, I had done nothing wrong but lost.

Today that changed, through a combination of good potting, slices of luck and keeping the frames tight.

I went 2-0 down, and i started thinking that this was not going to be my day, but as walktall will vouch, we spent of the time saying 'ul' or 'vul' such was the viciousness of the flicks and cannons we were both getting. To lose this only 3-2 was very unlucky him, he should have probably had this 4-1 maybe even 5-0, but i managed to scrape a couple.

Now everyone who knows me, knows i hate 9us, so i kept things tight and simple, snookering where need be, and through a combination of bad from his behalf and good pots on mine, i managed to win a few of these and keep the pressure on.

My favourite game type, in this once i had won the 2 frames i needed to win the match, i went for a 7 balling, messed up but still managed to win by good shots and safety play.

We were both very unlucky, maybe a bit more him than me, i usually got my bad luck at the beginning of a frame where he got his nearer to the end. But I would like to say what a sporting gent he is, not once did he complain about anything, a great character and i hope he does well for the rest of the season.
