Well last nights/this mornings boxing:
Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana - Loses on points, the judges scores were a joke, it were a lot closer than 116-112, 117-111 - 1 judge scored 114-114 (more accurate).
IMO Maidana were leading in the first 6 rounds.
Amir Khan vs Collazo: The best fight I've seen Amir in, he looked back to his best and has improved his defence very much. Were disappointed with Collazo tbh, kept walking on to the jab and Amir were too fast for him.
Anthony Ogogo won his match in 3rd round, the opponent couldn't handle his speed, were quite impressed.
Adrien Broner vs Molina - What can i say, arrogant, cocky, just cant stand the guy, show boating all the time and he only won on points. Molina unfortunately had not much power in his punches so they just brushed off his head. Hope soon Broner gets the beating he deserves lol - knock him down a peg or two. He boxed well in spells but whole match showed lack of respect to his opponent and proved that in the post match interview, foul mouthed youth.

I thought Maidana were ahead in the first 6 rounds then Mayweather increased his work rate and a draw overall would have been the fair result. Rematch.

Some great fights on tonight cke1982 mate:
Nathan Cleverley vs Shawn Corbin - Predict Cleverley to bounce back from last defeat - probably win by TKO.
Lee Selby vs Romulo Koasicha - Have to stick with Lee Selby here - seems to get better with each fight, maybe early stoppage here.
Gavin Rees vs Gary Buckland - IF this is anything like their last fight in February then in for another Epic - Buckland won last time on points, which will make Rees more hungry but will prove to be his downfall. Can only see another win for Buckland.
Nathan Cleverley vs Shawn Corbin - Predict Cleverley to bounce back from last defeat - probably win by TKO.

Well the two Smith brothers demolished their opponents in quick fashion last night. Both winning by TKO in Round 2, Paul Smith more through uppercuts and jabs whilst Callum literally punched the life out of Tobias' rib cage. Wow he were 1 round down in my opinion then stepped it up and his accuracy were mesmerising.
Nathan Cleverley vs Shawn Corbin: I predicted a TKO and that's what we got, he were very good and punched with more power and accuracy than I've ever seen from him. His opponent Corbin looked disinterested from the first bell IMO, complete different persona from the weigh in etc. Cant wait for Cleverley to knock out that scouse big headed boxer in Tony Bellew. Cant stand him and his arrogance.
Gavin Rees vs Gary Buckland: Well I were wrong and this being Rees swansong, he saved his best for last. Buckland had no defence and kept rushing in to his opponent time after time, getting caught with the jab. Rees were clinical especially in the latter stage of the rounds. Buckland didn't really look like his punches had much power and just brushed of Rees head and body inflicting nothing but a counter attack from Rees. 1-1 now, wasn't as good as their prev encounter.
Lee Selby vs Romulu Koasicha: I predicted maybe early TKO and it were won on points 2 judges 119-109, 3rd 119-110, say no more opponent were disappointing, seemed more annoyed with his corner than his boxing ability, only round 8 he caught Selby flush.

Anthony Joshua vs Matthew Legge: 83 seconds this took for Legge to say not for me thanks lol. I wish they would put AJ in versus someone who might push him or even hurt him. Legge got through a couple of times but you could see the reaction from AJ like he were hitting him even harder. Honestly think and fear fans will lose interest if they keep giving him miss-matches.
Jamie McDonnell vs Rachawat: The Thai boxer would not give up and constant walked and tried to restrict McDoeall's space in ring. I dont think he actually caught jamie with anything all match apart from very clumsy with his head. Good win by jamie but nothing special.
Kevin Mitchell vs Ghislain Maduma: I were very impressed with Maduma and think he's one to watch, I dont think the stoppage were fair and it were sheer exhaustion which ruined his balance. I had Maduma winning on points and couldn't see a stoppage from Mitchell. Maduma's right hook were powerful and extremely accurate - he caught Mitchell time and time again.
James DeGale vs Brandon Gonzales: DeGale were very impressive and made his intentions known straight away catching Gonzales with a nice left hook from the start. Were unimpressed with an undefeated boxer and DeGale showed him up easily. Very good fight but too 1 sided to be called brilliant.

Carl Froch vs George Groves: Froch were much better than last time, used is left jab very well to keep Groves at arms length throughout the fight. He caught Froch a couple of times but apart from maybe 1 round (round 7) where he unsettled Froch's balance and rhythm did he make any impact. I had Froch winning by 2 Rounds then came the killer knockout punch. WOW what a GREAT knockout that were, very fitting finale for an epic spectacle. Well done Froch!
120 Days Froch vs DeGale - hmmm, I can't see it happening, Froch will fight in Las Vegas WIN then retire I feel. He has nothing left to prove he's beaten them all. (Prob Chavez Jnr).
I'd like to see DeGale fight Golovkin next - that would be some fight - Golovkin (my favourite boxer) should kill him.

Froch showed why the first fight went his way
it was a world champion against a novice
Froch opted for a very small ring, made sure Groves couldn't run away
and pushed the jab constantly into Groves mush
people can harp on about Groves this Groves that, he isn't good enough by miles, his mouth however is bigger and better than his boxing and even that was slapped firmly shut last night to
the problem Groves has he hasn't got the power, Froch did and inflicted pain everytime he hit Groeves, Froch has proved one thing his concrete chin is still in place
cant see the Dgale fight going forward Froch has nothing to prove to anyone domestically
Anthony Joshua
reminds me of a young Bruno, he needs to step up and soon and get some good rounds behind him
yet another has been
