This is an optional competition, if you aren't interested in playing, just post on the Players Championship thread.

Games are 4 racks of 8US, 9US and 8UK.
Each rack won by a player scores a point. In addition one point is scored for each 'event' recorded. An 'event' is classed as a Golden Break or a Run Out
In the case of a draw, you play 1 rack decider in the format chosen by the winner of the 12th rack.

With chris & mattywellie no longer an active part of the runners team the three of us are under strain. At the end of the season some of us are looking to step down which will not leave a viable team behind to carry on running the league. This means that new people need to come in. If anyone is interested could you please get in touch with either myself, zantetsukenz or _pro__frog_ over the coming weeks with the hope that you could possibly come on board before the end of the season to alleviate some of the strain - With the ultimate goal of taking over fully at the end of the season.

9us = 3-2 me
8uk = 4-1 me.

Started horribly in 8us going 2-0 down very quickly through good play by him. I then played well enough having to incorporate some saftey and snookers to win the remaining three frames taking it to 3-2.

I carried on how I left off in 9us, winning the first 3 frames quickly. Then on for a run out, I couldn't quite nudge the 7 ball from behind the 9, snookering myself and then knocking both free by slightly overhitting the escape. He then took the 5th by clearing after me breaking very well.

8uk I should've won 5-0. Whenever he missed, I cleared all 7 of my balls and the black everytime......except the final frame....where he gave me the carry, I cleared all 7 reds leaving a fairly difficult cut on the black and I ended up under-hitting it and leaving it hanging over the pocket for him to roll his remaining balls and the black.

He's a very good player, alot better than his stats suggest! I reckon he'll surprise a few players he faces over the season. Good games mate, were unlucky (especially in 8uk) and all the best.

All was good until UK then I made a lot of mistakes, missed some balls completely when trying to just scrape past. He played the snooker game and I got out of most but it does wear ya down lol. Fair play to him though he did what was needed.
