My straight was good tonight, hit a 52 just before he pmmed me asking to play and carried on from there really.

Hit a 35 first frame and 56 second frame to take it comfortably in the end.

I think I was always doomed to get so close but so far tonight. First break was a great split, 3 balls potted and a 4-9 begging to be potted after tapping in the 1 then 2 but with slightly off position when I potted the 2 I ended up worried where the white would end up and the 9 ball hit the jaw, and with the split so nice it was simple for him.

Next I ended up choosing the wrong spin on a snooker and set him up for a pot, with another 4-9 wanting to be potted. He used his 9 ball experience to play a beautiful set up while I battled to sort out my connection and by the time I had it sorted it was 2-0.

Then managed to bag the runout I'd missed in the first frame to get 2-1.

Then he got a few lucky shots in a row (rattled his shot but a completely different ball potted, rattled his pot to leave it hanging over but the white ended up completely behind a ball , then the next shot the ball ended up hitting the rail instead of going near the pocket and ended up right next to the white), before he overhit a shot as it looked like he had the frame clinched, and left the 9 ball in the way and I potted the 8 and 9 to level it.

Third break, third runout chance, a tricky 5 ball position took me too long and I panicked for position and got lucky to not snooker myself (though I was glad to be due the luck). Eventually left myself a slightly tricky shot on the 9 instead of the tap in it should have been and my spin to keep the white out of the middle pockets took it to the top right as I potted the 9. So it got replaced on the table for him to tap in. (3 shots on the 9 for a runout and only 1 taken is pretty poor).

Final frame I pushed out and he lost position on the 2, as he fouled he knocked the 9 ball and left it over the top left pocket, and I doubled the 2 into it for the draw.

Again, both unlucky to not win the game. Probably a fair result. He played well on his chances and I'm starting to get deja vu here...

runs of around 15 where the best I got, playing alright but sometimes I had 1 or 2 misses which should of got, but in frame 1 he got the 3 consecutive fouls 15 point penalty, as it seemed he didn't know it, he tapped and thought in straight didn't have to hit cushions, but I tapped up to 2 each then he didn't hit a cushion and got it. I finished from there easily. Frame 2 was 17-17 at one stage, going tight, id gone ahead with a run and he responded. But from there I went on to win with small runs and safeties / taps on new racks when needed. Overall he didn't have too much luck, frame 1 mostly. Was a nice person. ggs ul, good look for rest of season.

I had a reply back from him last night saying he would try be on in 30mins even tho I was offline all night lol, been an absolute nightmare trying get that game done!!

Trying to see who has played the fewest games to give them more games, stu/eri should know though. Think i'm up near the higher end (for FCL at least) so i'd rather let someone who hasn't had as many play
