Couldn't have had a worse start. Clearing up I play a gentle shot, after contact with my ball the white doubles into the middle of the left cushion and hits the black ball that was just off it, which just about goes into the bottom middle beyond belief. Then I get it together and clear up a nice 6 balling, only to notice as a pot the black to take the frame that my connection was failing and had just turned to 82/90 seconds. So that was chalked off but they were kind enough to replay the frame. So my first or second shot I played with the pack slightly split, the white cannoned into a ball after my shot, which cannoned into the black which hits two balls on the way to going into the bottom middle again. Completely the other direction I played the initial shot without even hitting a cushion. Managed to get it together again and take advantage of mistakes/bad luck to rescue a win.

Quite open here, I made a bad mistake to let them take the first but with a few good shots and some luck and bad luck for each I managed to take 4 just about.

Opened with a great runout, then he made one mistake and I pounced. Then I did a silly underhit and he cleared with carry and again I made a silly error potting and was forced into a shot that I couldn't quite make and he cleared. Last frame I had a bad split for the colour I potted and eventually won the frame off a mistake.
