humbled by fran lost 7-1 just as well they didnt have any baring on the title , lads been a pleasure but think its time to move on simply because i cant seem to cut it against the TOP players , maybe a season or two away to become a better player

I won the straight game against faust 3-1. Result was irrelevant, so we both didnt take it very seriously.

70%?! On that note, I think I'll retire!

Well done everyone on what was a very nice season, considering the state we were in towards the end of last season. We went into the final two sets with a realistic shot at all 3 titles. We did self-destruct in those last couple of sets, only being able to pull off nice results in the Super League.
Luckily, we managed big wins against Professionals and Uprising there to take that title- we are still the only team to win that competition in its 5 editions!

On that note, it looks like the time has come to bring this to an end. Snooker Squad was an effort to bring together players that are regular snooker players in one clan to try to antagonize all poolers. I think we managed that quite well over the last 11 threads! We were also competitive throughout and never went without a title.

Over the last 2-3 seasons, the slightly disturbing trend of core players leaving to rival big clans has taken hold. We've now come to a point we're we've simply lost too many core players over a short period of time, some for perfectly legitimate reasons and some for slightly more disappointing ones. It's become too difficult to compensate for all those losses.
But having lost pirate and fran (and a few others) before this season, followed by sam, owen, and imran, along with dgen, richie, and a few others this season, it seems like a good time to finish it off. I'd much rather end with a title in hand than limp into next season and fold midway or struggle to get games played.

So thank you to everyone who played for us, particularly those who were there throughout and come through for us, especially dgen, pete, owen, richie for their long-time membership.
