I personally still think FBL should be increased back to 8 frames instead of 6, by 2-0 down you are scraping for a draw - the opponent could (not saying they have) but fluked their 2 frames, at least with 8 frames players have a little more time to settle or play properly.

Also the 6 frames take so little time, end up spending more arranging than actually playing. The GSC Format of 10 racks would be brilliant in the FBL.

I agree, would be much more accurate with 8 or 10.

All those arguments can be just as easily applied too longer races too.

Why do you want longer races when the FCL is already best of 15 frames?

Short races are nice and fun and limit the inevitably of the better player winning.

I'm pretty sure the majority of the players in the leagues don't give a damn about "an accurate league" and instead just want enjoyable matches.

I'm all for making the leagues diverse & I also support your views that we should have at least one truly accurate league but that doesn't mean that we should make every league identical with long dull races in each match.

Can we have an update for FBL golden cue please?

Sarah has updated for the FCL so hopefully if she has seen this polite request she might update one for FBL when she has time too.

Not quite sure why I put the 12th as the deadline for these games rather than the 11th!!!

But anyway one last afternoon and evening to get as many of the last few remaining games played as possible.

FBL Season 10 has now been completed.

In order to update the League table nominal default outcomes have been entered for the unplayed games from the final fixture set based on available information. Should any team wish those scores to be revisited please let me know along with why and the evidence to support it.
