I gifted him the first 8 ball cos I tried multitasking and talking so gave that up and woke myself up to clear early in the other four.
9 ball, hating the game at the moment, chappy deserved this set.
8 UK was where the quality matches were, first frame was one of the best i've played in he had his ball dangling over the pocket so spent ages working that situation then I ended up in the ascendancy with a similar situation over the other side and he worked it for ages. We both played really well and I think winning that was a turning point.
After that he was very unlucky going in off a few times, the 5-0 UK scoreline is no reflection of how well he played.
