I didn't have the best of games, first frame could of gone either way as splits were killing me, twice i potted another ball and once i potted the white, managed to hit a 55 tho to take the first frame...

Same sorta thing in the second altho it was harry who hit a couple of high teens to take the second...

I started off very well in 8US and tbh was ul not to take more from this, just a few little touches got in my way of a good session, i hit a runout in rack 3 and rly should of had another in rack 1 but i got too close to my final colour which made the double harder but not impossible but i just hit it wide to my amazement. Steve played just as good when he was on the table, but i should of had more from this imo.

9US up next and i didn't pot off the break which cost me a frame as he cleared from my break, he then hit a runout but i battled back to take it 3 - 2!

5 - 5 going into UK and i played better than i usually do here, it was a tactical game at times playing with small margins and it was me who came out on top most times, i hit a runout in frame 2 to stamp my mark on the game, after some more tactical stuff i managed to find the gaps and use my balls well to take control he was ul in the last frame as he nearly cleared after some tough shots but landed close to the black with a triple on but he didn't manage to get it.

ah, what a result against an in-form pirate!

We're ahead in both cups, although they're still very close.

8us - I didnt really miss much but when i did it was the black, i got lucky in the 5th after missing the black i left a pretty difficult long pot for him, he missed and i finished.

9us - I got so lucky with about 4 or 5 flukes, unfortunately he had a bit of luck also. My luck game at the start of the frame normally, and his seemed to come at the crucial part of it.

8uk - Neither of us missed much, but i think i played slightly better, having pulled out a pretty tasty 5 ball clear up from a near impossible position to take the frame and match
