Anyone else get this problem, when I play certain players I get connection failing (1/90s) in the top left corner, goes up to 90s and then boots me out. Also happens when the same player opens my pm box or I open theirs. Only happens on certain players, very bizzare, but the game will not allow me play those players at all.

Think this is just coincidence, as connection failing is usually a fault at your end or the server going mental. Coincidence i think.

Sometimes when this occurs repeatedly I've just rebooted my router, seems to be the remedy mate. I agree with Jay just pure coincidence, with it only happening with certain players. However, if it does happen with the same selected players then they are best of rebooted or refreshing their connection.

It's not coincidence Jay, I've played him a few times last couple of days, and every game he's stopped responding then left. Was meant to play him in an 8US marathon final earlier, and he obviously hadn't had the problem before because he got that far. He got into the game room before me (I'm assuming with no problems), and as soon as I got there he stopped responding then got logged out. When he came back on I PM'd him asking what happened, and he stopped responding again. He says it happens with a few players, and every time he plays them it happens.
It could be coincidence, but if that's the case it's a huge one

I'm one of them, and there's nothing wrong with my connection (well it is slow at times), but this doesn't happen with anyone else I play against.

Its got nothing to do with the other player or their connection though - that is the main point being made. Unless you have found out a way to hack funkypool and others connection to the website. For all anyone knows its just his connection to the server that has mild spells of crapness.
If he gets logged out and then can sign in straight away after it - that would be connection to the server as sometimes logging out helps if you do it manually.
Nothing by the looks of it can be done, and admin may have the answer but not the fix.

Yeah but it's a weird one whatever the reason. I'm with him on this, if it happened to me I wouldn't be happy. Just find it weird that it happened when he was due to play me, he came back online, and it happened again when I PM'd him. I think if I wouldn't of done that he would of been fine.

Ive recently found out the reason some connections are slow is due to their CPU usage, the computer fails to read all the registry files or their RAM is too low.
Best way to check your CPU usage is to run a systems diagnostic test, another helpful action would be to defragment your c: but bear in mind this will take a fair while, probably a couple of hours.

Mine was slow earlier, until I cleared absolutely everything out of the browser; history, cookies, cache, saved passwords, autofill info, the lot and it's been fine since

That's what defragmenting does so to speak, but yeah that helps too.

When my laptop is overheating, as its so old, and fan doesnt do jack (bleep) then it lags A LOT.
I know now to have only one browser open, with as many minimal pages as possible, helps it run smoother..

I have found in the past on at least 2 occasions 2 or more of my friends got logged out at the exact time, whereas I found no difficulty and carried on playing.
So I do see what king means by only happening to certain players, though i havent a clue why.

Its quite easy to do, the opponent would keep restarting the router which if played right lasts 60 seconds and allows you to continue. Its a sneaky way to play but i have seen it done in tournaments.
